Satellites – Ellur

Emotion is already evoked within us in the opening of ‘Satellites’ by Yorkshire indie songwriter Ellur. Lyrically it is immensely powerful, my favourite lyric being ‘And if time was on our side, I’d build a home inside your eyes.’ In the melody, however, what is most potent is the collide of the pre-chorus and the chorus. We hear Ellur’s vocals both deepen soulfully and heighten divinely.
