FabricRose finished up 2024 with an excellent release of songs; ‘NO CHiLL’, ‘GLiDE’, ‘2014, ‘SORRY’ and ‘5 STAR’. There’s so much to unpack with each track, and we are immersed in these components.
The artist begins with consistent, sleek production shown in first track ‘NO CHiLL.’ As soon as the song opens, we are exposed to the vocals – and this kind of energy is infectious. Their fresh tones allow FabricRose to elucidate his lines. There’s also versatility in the tempo to keep us invigorated.
In ‘GLiDE!’, FabricRose teams up with Son of Daphne and Waggy to design something immensely catchy. The genre may correlate with that of ‘NO CHiLL’, but the instrumental and vocal style of ‘GLiDE’ brings new atmospheres, especially seen in the notable echo effects. A 90s style instrumental takes place in ‘2014’, yet the lyrics are brilliantly reminiscent of the mentioned year. FabricRose gives us something to think about with cogitative lines such as ‘Life can get too scary, but I guess I make it scary.’ Effective repetition engages us.
Speaking on ‘DON FARO’, FabricRose says “FARO, This is not a tape but more of what I feel and experience in this life time. Don Faro is actually the Beginning of everything If you ask me.” Describing his work ethic, he explains that “I give so much in my craft, hoping it will reach where it’s needed sooner than expected and for that I can’t give up now you know.”

‘SORRY’ has a heavy focus vocally, where FabricRose showcases his prominently admirable breath control. Melodically these vocals are complimented, with a rhythm that calls you to have it on repeat. We then take in the great flow of a second collab – the final track ‘5 STAR’ – with XtoxicOverdose. A conversational intro draws us in, reappearing later perhaps for a foreshadowing effect. It appeals most in its soothingly reflective essence. Not difficult to get lost in.
